Broadway Live-Work Flat, San Francisco, CA (In Construction)
This penthouse in Pacific Heights was renovated twice by our office for successive owners. The first project involved the complete renovation and modernization of a 1920's high-rise flat. A warm and minimal vocabulary of cherry, hand-rubbed steel and limestone was used throughout the interior. A wine cellar was designed for a 2000-bottle collection. The second project adapted the first design for use by a digital-media artist by integrating advanced projection, sound, lighting and shade systems as well as the creation of a painting studio and media lab. Custom furniture and display systems for the owner's artifacts are in production.
